First Annual Golf Drop

Congratulations and a HUGE thank you to everyone who supported Loomis Basin Education Foundation’s first annual Golf Ball Drop held on June 4th. We raised just over $5000 for the LUSD Music Booster Program. It was a spectacular sight watching the helicopter as it dropped 990 golf balls on the Home On The Range driving range.

The money raised will be used to support the music program in the Loomis Union School District such as the purchase of sheet music and the repair of instruments in the upcoming school year.

Jennifer Sanderson from H. Clark Powers Elementary School won the grand prize of $1000 and 17 other prizes were won by very happy contestants. The two Sunsplash Season passes were won by Franklin scholars, Brandon A.and Marissa K. Mrs. Johnsrud's 7th grade class at Franklin won the Italina Ice party.
